Kia Booth is a Sydney-based contemporary artist and the artist behind CASA VACANZA. Working primarily in large-scale acrylic and mixed media artworks, her practice explores atmosphere and feeling, leaning into visions translated through tropical dreamscapes.

Her work evokes a sense of nostalgia, always seeming to bring to life an atmosphere rather than a real setting. Her pieces are both intimate and transportive – nostalgia built through her practice of bold colour, layering, pencil marks, and texture – evoking both mood and narrative in her work. Scale usually plays an important role, immersing her audience in the setting she has created and holding space in any room.
